Our Journey: Who We Are
The Midfield Press was born out of a simple belief: that women’s football deserves more—more coverage, more conversation, and more celebration. What started as a passion project quickly became a platform driven by curiosity, creativity, and a deep respect for the game.

We’re not just reporting on the game—we’re part of its evolution. Whether it's breaking news, in-depth features, or hidden stories that deserve the spotlight, we’re here to make sure they’re told, heard, and remembered.

This isn't just our journey, it's yours too - the journey of the growth of Women's Football.

Meet the Team
The faces behind The Midfield Press.

All-Round Journalist, Liga F Correspondent

I joined The Midfield Press as I saw an opportunity, both for me and for the team. TMP was an upcoming starter dedicated to Women’s football and I am an aspiring sports journalist with a burning passion for football. Our values align with one another and I knew that it would give me great experience and also confidence for my future whilst I could help grow this brand like everyone else. Football is my life, the aspect of life I love the most, and I am so lucky to have the opportunity to witness the growth of the women’s game, and also to have the opportunity to take part in the games’ expansion and growth especially with such an incredible group of girls at The Midfield Press.

Bundesliga Frauen Correspondent

I joined TMP because I wanted to gain experience working as a journalist. But more importantly, I’m passionate about seeing the women’s game grow — how media attention is increasing and making it more visible around the world. I wanted to contribute to that progress, and TMP gave me the opportunity to do exactly that.

There are many reasons on why I wished to join the TMP- from gaining experience in the journalism field to help build a profile, to meeting and working with inspirational women who have the same dream with me. I thought it would be an absolute honour and privilege to work with them as we love the game and can't wait to see it grow even more in the future, whether we watch players shine on the pitch, or watch each other shine in the media roles the TMP have allowed us to have a chance.

Frauen-Bundesliga Correspondent
Viktoria Beck
I’m passionate about women’s football and write for TMP with a focus on the Bundesliga, aiming to bring more visibility to this exciting and often overlooked league. Covering matches not only allows me to grow as a journalist, but also to be part of the sport’s growing recognition. With my camera in hand, I love capturing the emotions that make every match unforgettable.
