Quarter finals Set for the UEFA Women’s Champions League

We’ve reached the quarterfinal stage on the road to Lisbon! Now we finally know who will face whom. On Friday, February 7, 2025, the quarterfinals and semifinals were drawn in Nyon, Switzerland.

Here’s what awaits us:

• Quarterfinal First Leg: March 18 & 19, 2025

• Quarterfinal Second Leg: March 26 & 27, 2025

• Semifinal First Leg: April 19 & 20, 2025

• Semifinal Second Leg: April 26 & 27, 2025

• Final: May 24, 2025, at Estádio José Alvalade in Lisbon

Quarterfinal Matchups:

• Quarterfinal 1: Real Madrid vs Arsenal W.F.C.

• Quarterfinal 2: Manchester City W.F.C. vs Chelsea FC Women

• Quarterfinal 3: VfL Wolfsburg vs FC Barcelona

• Quarterfinal 4: FC Bayern Munich vs Olympique Lyonnais

The games that lie ahead are, as expected, extremely exciting. One of the standout ties is a rematch of the 2023 UWCL final between Wolfsburg and Barcelona, where the Spanish side claimed the title. 

Another remarkable match is Quarterfinal 2, Man City vs Chelsea. With the addition of the quarterfinals, these two teams will meet a total of four times during March.

Semifinal Path:

After determining the semifinalists, the matchups are as follows:

• Semifinal 1: Winner of QF 3 (Wolfsburg or Barcelona) vs Winner of QF 2 (Manchester City or Chelsea)

• Semifinal 2: Winner of QF 1 (Real Madrid or Arsenal) vs Winner of QF 4 (Bayern Munich or Lyon)

The home team for the final in Lisbon will be the winner of Semifinal 2. This designation is purely for administrative purposes, such as choosing kits and bench sides.
