Brighton are set to host Arsenal this Wednesday at the Broadfield Stadium in the quarter-finals of the Subway Women's League Cup. Here is everything you need to know:

Arsenal have been in flying form since the appointment of newly signed head coach Renée Slegers, having an unbeaten record in their last twelve games, the side currently sitting third in the Women's Super League table. Slegers appointment as interim manager came after Jonas Eidevall's resignation from the team, which took immediate affect in October of 2024.

Brighton have had a challenging past five games, losing two games and drawing two. However, they made their mark in the third round of the Subway Women's League Cup with a 6-2 win against Championship side Bristol City.

The gunners are the favourites to make their way into the semi-final this evening, with them winning the past 14 meetings against the seagulls.

A predicted lineup for Brighton could see a 4-3-1-2 formation with the likes of Baggaley, Pattinson, Losada and Parris making the sheet.

A predicted lineup for Arsenal could see a 4-3-3 formation with the likes of Van Domselaar, McCabe, Foord, Russo and Williamson in the lineup.

Arsenal v Brighton kicks off on Wednesday, January 22nd at 7:15pm and can be found on the Barclays Women's Super League YouTube channel.
